Work will commence shortly to improve safety on the Pacific Highway at Cundletown and Rainbow Flat.

Member for Myall Lakes Stephen Bromhead said the NSW Government has allocated $500,000 for upgrades and road improvements at Cundletown and $200,000 for upgrades at Rainbow Flat to improve road user safety at these locations.

“Roads and Maritime Services will carry out the work which involves installing safety barriers at both locations and road resurfacing at Cundletown,” Mr Bromhead said.

“Work at Rainbow Flat will be carried out on the northbound shoulder one kilometre south of Godfrey Hill Road.

“Work at Cundletown will be carried out on the on-ramp and under the Princes Street Bridge.

“Work will be staged along the two sections of the Pacific Highway to minimise disruptions to motorists.”
