Major construction is underway at Sydney Metro’s two skytrain stations in the North West.

Rouse Hill and Kellyville stations each has four steel lift shafts, which are each about 13m high and weigh more than 12 tonnes.

The lifts will take customers from the ground level concourses to the platforms above.

Rouse Hill Station is about 12m above ground and located directly outside the Rouse Hill Town Centre and above the existing T-way.

Kellyville Station is about 13m above ground at the corner of Old Windsor Road and Samantha Riley Drive.

The $8.3 billion Sydney Metro Northwest project is stage one of Sydney Metro and includes eight new metro stations, five existing stations upgraded to metro standards and 4,000 new commuter car parking spaces.

Sydney Metro services start in the first half of 2019.
