Paving the road to the future of Australia’s transport infrastructure industry

Roads and Traffic Expo 2019

In September 2019, The National Roads & Traffic Expo will be the central meeting place for the Australian infrastructure sector, uniting road agencies, operators, industry leaders and innovators and providing a platform to meet, network and engage with the industry.

Major changes and developments are on a fast track in Australia’s road infrastructure and traffic industries.

The Federal Government has committed more than $75 billion over the next decade in transport infrastructure around the country and companies that provide solutions and services to the road planning, building and operating ecosystem are in high-demand.

The National Roads & Traffic Expo, to be held on 17-18 September 2019 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, is Australia’s trade show for the entire roads transport ecosystem.

Market leaders and experts from across the country will attend to do business and get up-to-speed with the latest developments in the fields of infrastructure, traffic management, smart mobility, parking, safety and active transport.

The show’s main mission is to future-proof infrastructure, link rural and urban areas, ease traffic congestion and improve road safety and efficiency.

In turn, this will facilitate business opportunities, create jobs, and enable connected and autonomous vehicles.

The National Roads & Traffic Expo is a new infrastructure-tailored event with over 300 speakers, 150 exhibitors, thousands of attendees and a Start-up Zone.

In one place, it brings together industry leaders and professionals, buyers, service providers, organisations, decision-makers and innovators from across the nation to focus on the country’s strong infrastructure future.

A wide variety of speakers already make up the ever-growing presenter list.

Headliners include representatives from VicRoads, Infrastructure Victoria, Infrastructure NSW, Transurban, Austroads, CSIRO, NRMA, ARUP, National Transport Commission and the Queensland Government.

Attendees can take advantage of 24 free educational seminars running in six theatres across two days. They will have the opportunity to swap between 20 minutes sessions set up in a TED Talk style and benefit from key topics.

The sessions include fleet management, traffic management and data analytics, parking, asset management, active transport, urban planning, roads safety, tunneling and many more.

Running alongside the free educational seminars, the National Roads & Traffic team are additionally hosting an invitation only, paid conference for high level executives and CEOs. Get in touch to find out more!
