Gippsland Ports

Expressions of interest are sought to fill upcoming vacancies for the Gippsland Ports Board, with appointments expected to commence 1 August 2019.

As determined by the Victorian Minister for Ports and Freight, Melissa Horne, board appointments will not exceed three years.

Gippsland Ports manages the local ports of Anderson Inlet, Corner Inlet & Port Albert, Gippsland Lakes, Snowy River and Mallacoota and two waterways, Shallow Inlet and Lake Tyers.

The purpose of the Board is to provide strategic direction for the management and operations of the ports and waterways, and to ensure good organisational governance.

These appointments represent a major leadership opportunity to become part of an important regional organisation.

The Victorian Government is committed to ensuring that the diversity of our boards represents the diversity of our communities. Women, Indigenous people, people with a disability, young people and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Expressions of Interest close at 23.59 on Sunday, 5 May 2019.
