The Gladstone Ports Corporation’s (GPC) Board has terminated the tenure of Chief Executive Officer, Peter O’Sullivan.

The decision follows a thorough and extensive investigation of concerns raised last year about his conduct. The substantiated complaint related to Mr O’Sullivan’s role in a staff disciplinary matter.

Mr O’Sullivan was suspended on 13 December 2018, on full pay, and has had no involvement with the day to day operations of the port since that time.

The Board will immediately start a merit-based search for GPC’s new leader.

Mr Craig Walker continues to serve as the Acting Chief Executive Officer.
