Sydney Trains is undertaking significant trackworks across its network as part of the Rail Repair Plan, taking place over the 23-24 March weekend.

Sydney Trains will have around 751 workers undertaking a significant amount of work over this period including ballast cleaning, track reconditioning, signal upgrade, bridge refurbishment, rail grinding and overhead wire renewal as it removes six high-priority defects.

Across the weekend, buses will replace trains on the T3 Bankstown Line between Cabramatta, Lidcombe and Sydenham for work on the Sydney Metro City & Southwest project as well as maintenance work.

The T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line will see buses replace trains between Cronulla and Sutherland on both Saturday and Sunday as part of Sydney Trains project work.

Sydney Trains thanks its passengers for their patience as it works to build a more resilient and reliable network.
