How to apply
Applying for the ACAA involves a straightforward process that focuses on presenting your project’s merits and achievements. Here are the key steps to get started:
Register online
- Visit the official ACAA platform
- Create an account to complete your entrant details
Provide project information
Submit essential details about your project, including:
- Project name and location
- A concise 60-word summary of the scope of work
- The purpose of the project (maximum 150 words)
- Contract timeline (commencement and completion dates), type and value
Meet the mandatory requirements
Ensure your project complies with the following criteria:
- Delivered within the agreed timeline and budget (allowing for approved variations)
- Meets agreed quality standards without material defects
- No fatalities or serious injuries occurred during the construction
- No significant breaches of environmental or heritage regulations
Address preliminary criteria
- Provide concise narratives that demonstrate the project’s value for money, contribution to industry and commitment to employee wellbeing and sustainability
- While detailed responses are reserved for finalists, your initial submission should outline these points clearly and succinctly
Upload your supporting materials
- Include your company’s high-resolution logo and up to five project photographs
Once you have completed each step you will be asked to pay the entry fee to finalise your application. All applications must be in by 5.00 pm AEDT on Thursday 6 March 2025. Finalists will be notified on Monday 17 March 2025 and advised of next steps.
