This November, more than 6,500 rail professionals will gather in Melbourne for AusRAIL PLUS 2025, the Asia-Pacific’s largest and most influential rail event.

With a world-class three-day conference, expansive industry exhibition and vibrant networking program, AusRAIL PLUS offers the ultimate platform for infrastructure professionals to connect, lead and shape the future of rail.

“AusRAIL is a premier highlight in the rail industry’s yearly lineup,” said Caroline Wilkie, CEO of the Australasian Railway Association, “and we are delighted to bring this event back to Victoria for the first time in a decade.”

This year’s program features over 120 speakers from across Australia, New Zealand and around the globe. Plenary sessions will explore digital transformation, AI and automation, sustainability, rail freight, safety, and First Nations engagement, offering deep insight into the challenges and opportunities shaping the sector.

“Our popular technical streams will also return, providing something for everyone across the three-day program,” said Wilkie.

The conference is complemented by the AusRAIL PLUS 2025 Exhibition, Australasia’s largest dedicated rail showcase. With over 300 exhibitors representing the full infrastructure and technology supply chain, it’s an essential opportunity for attendees to discover innovations, connect with suppliers, and benchmark the future of project delivery.

Following record-breaking attendance and award recognition for AusRAIL PLUS 2023, anticipation for this year’s event is high. “In 2025, we will build on this success, unveiling new features to maximise these opportunities for our delegates, exhibitors, and visitors,” said Wilkie. “We also look forward to presenting a fun and engaging lineup of social programs to facilitate networking opportunities.”

With standout events like the Women in Rail Breakfast, Yellow Dinner, and the new Flavours of Melbourne Street Party, there’s ample space to strengthen relationships and forge new partnerships.
