For the first time in three years the construction industry will once again gather for the 2022 Civil Contractors Federation (CFF) National Earth Awards, recognising excellence in civil construction industries.

The CCF National Earth Awards Gala Dinner is being held at the Hotel Realm, Canberra on Friday 11 November 2022.

CCF National CEO, Chris Melham, said the prestigious awards would be held for the first time since the enforcing of COVID-19 restrictions.

“The CCF National Earth Awards are the most prestigious awards in civil infrastructure recognising excellence in civil construction,” Mr Melham said.

“Industry has been unable to come together in person to celebrate excellence in civil construction since 2019 due to COVID restrictions, so this promises to be an amazing night recognising civil construction companies who have excelled in their respective areas.

“The award finalists are winners of each of the CCF State and Territory award categories, and so the projects being recognised at the CCF National Earth Awards represent the ‘best of the best’ across Australia.

“The awards showcase a range of projects across various disciplines including roads, bridges, drainage, rail and utilities – all of which support the growth and prosperity of Australian communities.

“I congratulate all finalists and wish them luck in their respective categories and look forward to seeing industry come together on Friday 11 November 2022 in Canberra.”

The CCF National Earth Awards are presented in seven groups, according to project value:

  1. $2 million
  2. $2 million to $5 million
  3. $5 million to $10 million
  4. $10 million to $30 million
  5. $30 million to $75 million
  6. $75 million to $150 million
  7. $75 million +

Entrants to the CCF National Earth Awards are judged on set criteria including:

  • Project & Construction Management
  • Innovation
  • People Development & Training
  • Quality Management
  • Safety Management
  • Environment Management
  • Stakeholders Management

Registrations for the event, held Friday 11 November 2022, are available here.
