Gladstone Ports Corporation (GPC) has released the Statement of Proposal for a new Land Use Plan (LUP) for the Port of Bundaberg in Queensland for public comment.
Under the Transport Infrastructure Act 1994 GPC is required to prepare and release a Statement of Proposal when making or amending land use plans.
The Statement of Proposal identifies matters GPC anticipates the LUP will address, states how GPC intends to handle these matters, and provides the opportunity for a range of stakeholders and interest groups to provide comment to GPC to assist in the development of the LUP.
GPC will consider all comments and feedback to ensure the LUP addresses the concerns and interests of the stakeholder groups, including the community and State Government.
The Statement of Proposal is open for comment until 12 January 2018, and comments can be made on GPC’S website (https://gpcl.com.au/Pages/Strategy-Planning.aspx) page and at GPC’s Port of Bundaberg office.
