The countdown is on for the Trade and Transport Day, and launch of the Rail Day at the 6th biennial GS1 Supply Chain Week.
With less than two weeks to go, the Trade and Transport Day is being held on 7 September at Doltone House Jones Bay Wharf in Pyrmont, Sydney, and on 14 September at Sumac and Sketch, Central Pier at the Docklands in Melbourne. The Rail Day will take place on 5 September at Doltone House Jones Bay Wharf, Sydney.
Marcel Sieira, Head of Customer Engagement and Business Development at GS1 Australia said, “This year we have exciting new additions to the program including the new rail sector.
“The rail program will focus on standardising the way materials are identified and the technologies required for implementation to improve safety, reliability and quality across the Australian rail industry.”
Hosted by GS1 Australia, the Trade and Transport Day, and Rail Day promise to deliver an interactive learning experience for trade, transport, logistics, rail and supply chain professionals. Attendees will discover the role of GS1 standards, and the next steps to improve visibility and efficiency, reduce costs and manage assets effectively.
