Smart Cities 2020
May 19 - May 20
Connecting the dots for prosperous, liveable cities.
Smart Cities is a two-day event that brings together the pillars of our cities – representatives from government and the buildings, roads, transport and utilities industries – to educate you on the latest developments that are improving the ways our cities, towns and suburbs operate.
Pre-sale tickets are now available! Book before 27 March and receive up to $1000 off regular ticket prices.
Why: Smart cities start with “why”. Truly smart cities have an established plan for what they want to achieve; and they use technology as the enabler for the changes they want to effect, rather than the reason for change itself.
Where: The smart city conversation has moved beyond the metropolis, and now relates to suburbs, neighbourhoods and towns as much as our biggest cities. We now understand that there’s as much work to be done at the micro level, as well as the macro level.
Wellbeing: Smart cities are moving their focus towards the wellbeing of community members as their key performance indicator, and are working to create functional environments that provide benefits for every citizen.
At Smart Cities 2020, we will explore these key themes, and much more, through our world-class speaker line-up, formal and informal networking sessions, and at the Smart Cities Awards, where the latest innovations in the industry will be on display.
