The Australian Airports Association (AAA) will hold their National Conference on the Gold Coast this November. With over 800 delegates, this is the pre-eminent aviation conference and exhibition in the Asia Pacific Region.
This year’s program has a strong focus on sustainability, technology, security, customer and commercial aspects of the aviation industry. With increased content relevant to regional council mayors, councillors and CEOs as well as the traditional airport manager related content, this conference is shaping up to be the best yet.
International keynote speakers are a highlight of the program this year and include Craig Richmond, President and Chief Executive Officer, Vancouver Airport who will discuss Values, culture and results: Thoughts from Vancouver Airport, James Bennett, Director of Aviation Services, City of Phoenix who will provide an overview on Airport governance, development and financing – A Phoenix perspective, and Damien Trower, Head of Airport Security, Gatwick Airport who will share insights on the Gatwick Airport drone incident – Lessons for Australia.
The program has been developed with concurrent streams focusing on issues relevant to regional airports with an emphasis on airport management, case studies from around the world and learnings.
The technical forum on days three and four will provide updates from CASA, information on emergency and safety management as well as airport operations.
