Upgrades to the Copper Coast Highway in South Australia’s Upper Yorke Peninsula are set to begin to improve the safety and efficiency for heavy vehicles, motorists and agriculture vehicles.
As part of the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure, Upper Yorke Peninsula Regional Road Network Upgrade Program, approximately 6.4km of pavement rehabilitation, shoulder sealing and line marking will be undertaken along the Copper Coast Highway between Kadina and Paskeville.
Shoulder reconstruction and sealing will improve ride quality and comfort for road users and improve safety for motorists by reducing the risk of ‘road run-off’ type crashes.
Works will start on 31 October 2017 and are expected to finish by late-January 2018.
