Like the majority of states across Australia, Tasmania is currently experiencing a major boom in the number of cruise ships visiting its ports, with a 64 per cent increase in dockings over the past year.
In light of the increased demand, Tasmanian Ports Corporation (TasPorts) has made a significant investment in infrastructure upgrades across Tasmania to improve the berthing capacity for cruise ships.
