Australia’s leading transport innovators, researchers and organisations are being encouraged to put their achievements forward for national recognition, with nominations now open for the 2027 ITS Australia Awards.
The awards, which will be presented in Brisbane on 18 February 2027, celebrate excellence across the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) sector, recognising projects and individuals driving innovation, improving transport outcomes and shaping the future of mobility.
ITS Australia Chief Executive Officer, Susan Harris, said the awards provide an opportunity to highlight the work making a tangible difference across the transport sector.
“This is an opportunity to recognise the people and projects delivering tangible outcomes – from advancing new technologies through to improving safety, efficiency and sustainability across Australia’s transport networks,” Harris said.
“We know there is incredible work happening right across the country, and we encourage the sector to put forward those achievements for national recognition.”
The awards shine a spotlight on achievements across areas including connected, electric and automated vehicles, transport data, infrastructure and research.
Industry leaders, government representatives and innovators will come together at the awards to celebrate excellence and leadership across Australia’s ITS sector.
Individuals and organisations are encouraged to submit nominations aligned with the award category criteria, demonstrating innovation, leadership and measurable impact.
