Launceston Airport Terminal Reconfiguration moves forward

The Launceston Airport Terminal Reconfiguration Project is nearing the completion of stage 1, with the level 1 lift access changed and a new lift waiting area constructed.

Vos Construction will be starting Stage 2 of the Terminal Reconfiguration works in late May, beginning with demolition of the wall and glass doors adjacent to the Wilderness Café.

Upon completion of the wall demolition, hoarding, to a height of 2.4m will be installed directly next to the Car Rental desks.

In addition to these works, VOS will begin work on a new cleaner’s room located at the current double glass doors. A new airlock will also be constructed to access both sets of public toilets.
