C.R. Kennedy is hosting a UAV/Accura Roadshow, with staff members and RPA/Accura experts on hand to explore the latest in UAV technologies.
In attendance will be Aibotix staff from Germany, Scientific Aerospace local staff, and also representatives from Australian company CEE Hydro systems, in support of C.R. Kennedy’s Accura hydro Boat (CEE supply the sonar and software for the Accura).
The Accura RC Hydroboat is also a C.R. Kennedy in-house development that has been constructed and field-tested from the Brisbane office, and is ready to go.
Also on hand at the roadshow will be the new CSIRO ‘Hovermap’.
This revolutionary ‘payload captures scanned 3D data while in flight and also uses this information for navigation. This collected data will also ultimately lead to live collision avoidance in upcoming Hovermap models, when teamed with an appropriate RPA.
The next wave in RPA development will be VTOL fixed wing units.
These will greatly reduce one of the negatives of fixed wing flight – the comparative complications of take-off and landing when using a conventional fixed wing craft.
With VTOL fixed wing this is now no more complicated than a conventional multi rotor RPA.
C.R. Kennedy’s latest product for the surveying industry, the Bird’s Eye View Firefly 6 pro, will also be at the UAV/Accura Roadshow.
The roadshow will be in Perth on 29 November, Melbourne on 1 December, Sydney on 5 December and Brisbane on 9 December.
