Fremantle Ports has announced the appointment of a new CEO, following a recruitment process that considered candidates across Australia and internationally.
Jodie Ransom was selected for the role and commenced 1 July 2024.
Ms Ransom brings a wealth of experience to the role having spent more than 30 years in the ports and marine industries. She was General Manager Operations at Fremantle Ports and is currently the acting CEO since the passing of former CEO Michael Parker. Ms Ransom has previously held senior positions with Svitzer, CBH and Alcoa.
Ms Ransom was selected for her breadth of experience across port operations, marine and shipping, as well as in commodity export.
Fremantle Ports said it looks forward to continuing the organisation’s operational and strategic direction and focus on customer engagement and asset renewal with her at the helm.
