Western Australian Minister for Road Safety, Michelle Roberts, has announced a new Road Safety Commissioner.

Iain Cameron will take over the role from outgoing commissioner Kim Papalia.

“Mr Cameron has very strong credentials in road safety which are recognised nationally and internationally,” Ms Roberts said.

“He was instrumental in the development of the Towards Zero Road Safety Strategy.

“He is highly experienced and well regarded in the field of road safety, and I look forward to working with him in the very important task of improving road safety in Western Australia.”
