The New South Wales Government has released the NSW TrainLink Corporate Plan 2024–25 for public consultation.

The Corporate Plan outlines NSW TrainLink’s key priorities and initiatives, as well as its strategy for delivering intercity and regional train services and regional coach services.

The plan outlines five transport priorities for the next four years, which are:

  1. A safe, equitable and integrated transport system – Travel across modes is integrated, with more options for people to travel where, when and how they want
  2. Restoring reliability and increasing patronage – Services are reliable, disruptions are managed well, and more people across New South Wales are choosing public transport more often
  3. City shaping and precinct making – Transport hubs are vibrant places for people, and communities are connected to jobs, education, health and housing
  4. Local manufacturing and jobs – New buses, trains and ferries are being built in Australia and New South Wales to support a growing manufacturing sector and better jobs across the state
  5. Respecting and re-engaging the entire workforce – Everyone who delivers transport services is valued and engaged and feels proud to be part of the transport system

The public is invited to review the document and share feedback at NSWTrainsConsultation@transport.nsw.gov.au until consultation closes on 26 June 2024.
