Major upgrades to two busy intersections at Marmion Avenue in Perth’s growing northern suburbs have been completed two months ahead of schedule.

Marmion Avenue at Hepburn Avenue intersection

Intersection upgrades were delivered to both Hepburn Avenue and Whitfords Avenue, following a $12 million investment from the State Government towards easing congestion.

Upgrade works included:

  • Widening the intersections to provide additional and longer turning lanes
  • Improved pedestrian and cycling facilities
  • Installation of CCTV to improve incident management and allow us to make traffic signal adjustments that will advance traffic flow during the busiest times
