The RTAA Rail Industry Field Day is known as the biggest and best outdoor event on the Australasian rail calendar. The 2019 Field Day is just around the corner, taking place on 3-4 April in Clyde, Sydney.
With over 1000 attendees, over 50 exhibitors, 30 onsite demonstrations and a wide variety of plant and equipment on display, the event showcases the very best innovation and technology in the industry.

Exhibitors come from the private and public sectors and cover all disciplines of rail.
Expect to see indoor and outdoor exhibitors, onsite practical demonstrations, plants and equipment in action or attend a range of engaging presentations. Food and refreshments are available to purchase over the two days.
A free shuttle bus will operate approximately every ten minutes from Auburn train station to and from the event.

What is the Fettlers Shed?
The Fettlers Shed is a dedicated space onsite that hosts presenters from across the rail industry. Topics at the last event focussed on innovation in rail and speakers were drawn from government and non-government agencies. Each presentation is 30 minutes and includes a Q&A to enable the audience to ask questions.
What Else Happens During the Event?
The RTAA Rail Industry Field Day starts with an opening ceremony to welcome attendees. The ceremony includes industry dignitaries and the RTAA President. Throughout the two days, outdoor demonstrations are announced by the event MC as well as advising attendees of each Fettlers Shed presentation.
