Safety upgrades on the Kings Highway west of Batemans Bay in New South Wales are set to begin in late May 2017.
A Roads and Maritime Services spokesperson said the NSW Government allocated $800,000 for work which aims to increase skid resistance to provide a safer road surface and reduce ongoing maintenance costs.
“This two kilometre section of the highway is located between two previous projects at East Nelligen and Rotary Drive,” the spokesperson said.
“Roads and Maritime Services will resurface the road and provide a skid resistant surface to improve safety for motorists, connecting the two previously upgraded sections of the road.”
The works are expected to be completed by the end of May 2017.
