Our role in the industry
It’s an exciting time to be involved in infrastructure in Australia, with continuous investment in new road, rail, airports and ports mega projects – we’re truly in the middle of an infrastructure boom.
At the same time, the sector is also facing challenges around aging assets and rapid population growth, so finding the balance between optimising existing infrastructure and building something new is critical.
With so much change and so many new opportunities, it’s never been more important to have a consistent voice in the sector to help the industry to deal with some of the challenges it is currently facing.
Infrastructure is committed to being the voice the industry turns to, sharing ideas so that the sector continues to do what it does best – delivering the assets and services that play a critical role in the lives of Australians.
Infrastructure Editor – Jessica Dickers
Infrastructure is edited by Jessica Dickers, an experienced journalist, editor and content creator.
Jessica is interested in looking at what goes on behind the scenes to bring Australia’s infrastructure assets and services to life – from the railways that get people and products moving, to the construction of our roads, and advancements in airports and ports across the country.
With a strong writing background, Jessica has experience in journalism, editing, print production, content marketing, event program creation, PR and editorial management. Her favourite part of her role as editor is collaborating with the sector to put together the best industry-leading content for each issue of the magazine.
Infrastructure – published by Monkey Media
Infrastructure is published by Monkey Media, one of Australia’s leading trade publishers in the infrastructure, utility and energy sectors. In addition to Infrastructure, Monkey Media also publishes Utility, Energy and Pump Industry. Monkey Media is also the organiser of highly regarded industry events including Asset Management for Critical Infrastructure and Digital Utilities.
While the way the world communicates has changed rapidly over the last 20 years, the need for tailored, quality industry information has not. At the core of Monkey Media is a team of editors, journalists and designers with in-depth knowledge of the industries we work in, and an ability to put that expertise to work to create high-quality, engaging and thought-provoking content.
Monkey Media’s growth over the past few years has bucked the trend of most media companies, and in 2018 we were listed in the Australian Financial Review’s Fast 100.
