In 2018, Port of Newcastle handled more than 500 rail assets, including wagons, locomotives and passenger cars.

3. Ro-Ro capability
Port of Newcastle’s superior operational infrastructure and multi-purpose facilities can cater for roll-on roll-off vessels up to 265 LOA (length overall). We have proven capability in handling Ro-Ro vessels for the delivery of cars, and other project cargoes including equipment for the mining, agricultural, construction and rail industries.
