To be held at the Sofitel Hotel in Brisbane on Thursday 13 October, the 2022 IAQ Assembly ‘Balancing the infrastructure ecosystem’ event will provide insight and learning and thought provoking presentations, as well as challenge your mindset, enable collaborative discussion and be an opportunity for networking.

IAQ Chair, Jon Frew, said, “From the opening panel discussing the current geopolitical, socioeconomic, environmental and technological megatrends reshaping our business landscape through to the end of day immersive session focusing on how we can contribute to the beyond 2032 Games legacy, our 2022 Assembly is a ‘must attend’ event.

“The Assembly provides a trusting and sharing environment where private industry and government can come together to discuss strategy on major issues affecting our industry now and into the future. It is also a platform for idea development and sector connection.”

International speakers include Scott Jacobs, CEO and Co-founder Generate Capital who will provide his insights into climate and resource-related innovation; Stuart Lester, Data Innovation Lead at Transport for West Midlands with a front-line perspective following the 2022 Birmingham, UK Commonwealth Games and Michael Discenza and Amanda Baxter from Transurban North America.

Sessions cover topics including decarbonisation; liveability; sustainability and resilience; the technology revolution; procurement and financing for the future; and leadership in an era of transformation.
